Premise:
Known for it's artistic culture, history, and attractiveness for all those walking the streets of Greenwich Village, Christopher Street is one of the most popular hang out spots for NYC's young adult population.   Named for the safe haven known to many LGBT youth in the Big Apple, Christopher Street presents the story of four young men of minority descent, and the challenges that they faces daily growing up in a world of poverty, sickness, alienation, racism, sexism, and prejudice.

Synopsis:
Located in what is known as the "Gay Capitol of the World", Christopher Street has made a mark New York City's notorious Greenwich Village.  As the hang out spot for Generation X, Generation Y, and an occasional Baby Boomer, "the Village" is known as the nesting pod for the artist, the activist, and of course the gay liberationist.

That's why Christopher Dewayne Street chooses to hang out there.  Originally from Memphis Tennessee, Christopher Street, or just Chris to his friends, came to the Big Apple to make his mark in the world. A fashion fanatic and lover of the spotlight, Chris can be unpredictable.   He might be a boy today and a full grown woman on tomorrow.  With Chris, there is no middle line, you either love him or hate him.

Not too long after his transition, his best friend Jharemy and Jharemy's boyfriend Tony decided to follow Chris' footsteps and move to New York City! Within his friend circle you meet the "loyal wife" Jharemy, who is hopelessly committed to his boyfriend Tony; the cry baby Ashton, an innocent and shy 18 year old who has yet to experience any form of sexual encounter with the opposite sex.or the same sex for that matter; and the diva of all times Miss Shawn no explanation needed.

Through the lives of Chris and his diverse group of friends we see the challenges that four young gay men face as minorities. Each character has their own individual struggle that affects their lives within their friend circle and the world. Dealing with troubles that range from relationship issues, sexual identity, self-love, abuse, HIV/AIDS, and acceptance, not only from the world, but from themselves, Chris, Jharemy, Ashton, and Shawn must bridge the age gap and hetero-homo-gap by enlightening the world about truth of being a young gay adult in New York City.

Blending the camaraderie of "Girlfriends", the humor of "Will and Grace", and the rhapsody of "Queer as Folk", the pop "dramedy", Christopher Street presents controversial concerns such as HIV/AIDs, poverty, sex, relationships, sexism, and racism, in a positive way that the entire family can be confronted without being offended. With the help of Off the Clock Productions, Christopher Street will be presented to the world-one silver screen at a time.

The Movement: (BEYOND THE STREET)

Christopher Street firmly stands behind the movement of traveling through the United States educating, supporting and changing the LGBT youth community one city at a time.  With Christopher Street's new found buzz we are going to spread the word of issues that are attacking our youth.  We are hitting each city with vital information that will save lives.

With "Beyond the Street" the Christopher Street Cast, Producers, and Health Care Specialist will travel to various cities educating the young LGBT Community (25 and under) on the importance of protecting themselves physically and mentally through HIV/AIDS testing, counseling /support, and the Christopher Street Series viewings.    We will educate and allow individuals to know their status of HIV/AIDS and share with ones that are infected that there is still hope for tomorrow.
